Travel Photography

Exotic lands, whether they be near or far, offer real challenges for me. I usually do not photograph people, yet for me, the people of a unique place may be an essential part of the story. My travel photographs sometimes do incorporate people, often not directly or from a distance, and sometimes they only refer to the presence of people, or what they have left behind.
The same characteristics that excite me in the studio and outdoors hold together while I travel, and I try to infuse the viewer through my photographs with some of the wonder and excitement I feel in these places.
